The Principles of Body Structure and Function (BMS 211) Course is a 6-credit hours course offered to Year II Students of the Pre-Medical Phase (Pre-Med II) at UCM and other Health Sciences Colleges at Qassim University.

The main purpose of the course is to acquire the knowledge and analytical skills pertaining to general anatomy and embryology, histological, and physiological features of the cells and body tissues.

Several disciplines, including Anatomy, Histology, Physiology and Biochemistry will contribute to the instructional program of the course. The course also covers the relevant topics of general anatomy, cytology, general histology and general physiology.
